The Loch Ness monster (aka Nessie) - Considering that countless tourists and expeditions to search for the alleged beast have yet to turn up anything even remotely similar to a shred of evidence for its existence, it seems unlikely that Nessie is anything more than a tourist board promotion.
Yeti & Bigfoot - There is a remote possibility that a large anthropoid could remain undiscovered in the depths of the Himalayas. It's slightly less likely that Bigfoot would remain without ever being shot by a single hunter in North America's rapidly dwindling 'wilderness'.
It should also be noted that fossil remains of almost every living large North American mammal have been found by paleontologists. They've also found many fossils of species now extinct. But there have never been any anthropoid fossils found in Pleistocene deposits anywhere in North America. Asia is a different story, however, where fossilized teeth of a gigantic ape known as Gigantopithecus are known. Could Gigantopithecus or its descendants remain alive? Unlikely, but within the realm of possibility.
UFOs - UFOs definitely exist. Hundreds of them are sighted every year. Experienced pilots, naturalists and astronomers have all documented sightings of UFOs. The problem is that if they are identified, they are no longer UFOs. The probability that any of these UFOs represent FTL interstellar capable craft bearing humanoid alien lifeforms who abduct rural yokels and stick things up their bums is exceedingly remote.

Without definitive proof, such things remain a mystery. People have manufactured evidence but there is no conclusive proof. It seems strange that we can find skeletons of many wild beasts but have yet to find a bone or a skeleton of such beasts. Given the history of Loch Ness, either the beastie is long-lived or of a density greater than water, or at some point in time, people should have found floating remains of the animal. Fish float due to the production of gases within the flesh and a beast such as that would likely have floated after death. I live in China and people believe in the Hunan Monster and in Tibet lives the Yeti...at least in the folklore but in actual fact, there is no proof. Web-sites offer proof created by journalists in the form of photos of foot-prints, etc.and while they look convincing to most amateurs, they lack critical proof. I live near a lake reported to have a Loch Ness type monster. The lake itself in the crater or the cauldera of an extinct volcano and the depth is not over to feet and rather clear. Various small fish and some that may even reach three feet or so in length and this lake has supposedly been the home of a monster for a few hundred years. The only abnormality that I have observed was the wind currents. The lake could be placid and within minutes have strong waves that might have engulfed small boats and drowned the fishermen. A similar such lake is located near the border of China and North Korea. Two years ago, I was in Tibet on the East face of Mt. Everest, and I noticed tracks of a bear in the snow....two days later we visited the same sight and the tracks were elongated by partial melts and slippage of the snow. As a biologist, I don't rule out things that could remain hidden from our knowledge but I would be skeptical about finding such creatures that have avoided men for centuries, men have traveled the globe over and it seems pretty unlikely that we missed much. Yes new species of insects are founds, or obscure plants and such...but for an animal of the size and disposition of these creatures seems very unlikely. In considering the answers you will find a number of people that choose to believe in such mysteries, but many of them believe in other odd things too.

Well, there is much speculation about this-there is proof of the existence of these creatures or "myths" but it is quite a controversial subject. This is what I know: photos have been taken of these creatures-some are real, some are fake. UFOs have been sighted for hundreds of years, sometimes by only one person, sometimes by dozens. Do they really exist? Is the supernatural real? Different people have different conclusions, but I believe they do exist. I mean, there's so much evidence, its unlikely that they don't!
