I don't know why I am helping you with your HW, but I am feeling nice. Im gonna tell you how to do it too so you are good to go for next time.

Diameter = 2 X Radius
Circumference = Pi (3.14) X Diameter

So....
1. 3.14 feet
2. 9.42 cm
3. 69.08 inches

Now you know!

The formula of circumference of a circle is= 2*pi*r OR pi*D
(r=radius and d=diameter)
pi has a value of 3.14 or 22/7.

1. Circumference= 2*22/7*1/2
= 22/7 feet
2. Circumference= 22/7*3
= 66/7 cm
3. Circumference= 2*22/7*11
=484/7 inches

You can use the equation 2 x Pi x r to calculate circumference.

Since #1 you are already given the value r, it is a straight forward substitution into the equation.

for #2, the diameter is actually 2 x r, so you can actually mutliply by Pi to get the circumference directly.

#3 the value of r is also given.

If you need to convert between the measurement systems i.e. between feet, inches and centimeters, you can always use a website that helps you to convert see below

Perimeter of a circle can be found by the formula
p=2. r .pi

1) p=2. 1/2 . 3,14 ft.
2) p= 3. 3,14 cm
3) p=2. 11. 3,14 inch

Do the multiplications by yourself.

its very simple....just apply this formula

circumference=2*22/7*radius

and diameter = 2*radius so apply this formula and get ur answer....

thnx
