i think you mean Mt. Kosciuszko pronounced cos-e-os-ko
it is not IN Sydney but in the state NSW

As noted by all of the Aussies, Mt Kosciuszko is about a 5 hour drive out of Sydney. However ... Aussies in general are incorrect in pronouncing it ko-see-os-ko. If you ask any Polish person, they will tell you that it should be pronounced something like kosh-chush-ko. Anyway, whatever you want to call it, it's a great place for skiiing in winter and for walking in summer.

Mount Kosiosko is in a part of N.S.W. we call the Snowies. It is a fair way from Sydney.
