I have been able to see and know things I had no way of knowing since I was 3 years old. The hardest part has been learning to control it so that I am not always inside peoples heads without wanting or being asked to be there. I have always said some people simply think too loud.
I have been doing Rune, Tarot, Palmistry, and Clairvoyiant readings for almost 24 years now. For me it has always just been a fact of life. Most of my family are the same way.
Sometimes I wish I couldn't do these things. For instance when someone asks me to look into thier hand or cards or runes and I see health problems, sexual abuse as a child, people being mugged or killed... I hate giving bad news but I have always thought it is better to know and be able to try to avoid it than to not know and have it catch you unaware.
As far as how i knew I had the gift ... Too many times as a child I would dream things and have them happen, or see spirits and have them give me info about people that I had no way of knowing so I just sort of knew.
Every single person is psychic to some degree you just have to work at developing and controlling it. It frightens some people and they push things away. Think about it have you ever met someone that you instantly liked or disliked? That "intuition" is the same source you tap to use your psychic abilities.
