It's actually wrong to call that insect by the name daddy long legs because the name actually refers to a spider (latin name Pholcus phalangioides)

The crane fly - although Daddy long legs technically are not the flying ones - they are spiders, the crane fly is the one with wings.
Or have i just miss judged your question and to you want to know the correct name.......

Crane fly thats the flying one...... We call what is supoosed to be a spider a daddy long legs too, but its actually a insect coz it only has 6 legs...
