It is legal i believe, as is putting leaflets through doors. But fly posting is illegal -when you stick posters/ ads on telegraph poles/ elec boxes etc.

Alot of people do it at events where they target all the cars in the car park. A bit annoying sometimes but good initialtive on their part!!

If they cause no damage then no

If they dont interfere with your enjoyment of the vehicle ( this is vague and can only be tested in court) then no

If they dont fix it properly and it blows on the ground its littering which is illegal.

The content of the leaflet is also questionable ( if its offensive then that could be illegal as it could get into the hands of minors)

One option is to send the leaflet in an envelope to the company without paying the postage ( and no return details) to the company advertising) they would then have to make a decision to pay the postage shortage or refuse the delivery either way a message gets to them to stop. I couldnt possibly recommend this action of course.

Unfortunately, yes. However, you can get some revenge with a couple of sneaky methods.

1) If you just want to upset them, tell them you're going to report them for "vehicle interference." This is a genuine offence, but they have not committed it because they have not intended to steal the vehicle or from it. But they probably won't know that and it may worry them.

2) If you want to be vindictive and are prepared to lie in court (a criminal offence), you can yell at them - "hey I saw that!" Then break the windscreen wiper and report them to the police for criminal damage. Whether you are believed or not is the gamble you take.

Alternatively you could just kick the shite out of them for touching your car.

On the other hand you could just not get so bothered by it and let it go. Life's too short and all that.

in case you're having this executed in a shop parking zone Like a food market tell the administrative you will no longer shop there if it contuse. First the are think to get the ok from the lot proprietor Its private sources this way in the event that they destroy a wiper u be attentive to who did it an the lot proprietor could be healed in charge the 2d component i do is throw them back on the floor makes the placement appear as if trash who desires to shop there an the city will lead them to clean it up or effective them so whinge an trash the placement lol

I wish it wasn't. There is nothing worse than driving off and then putting your windscreen wipers on, only to see a leaflet for a second income oppertunity smearing across your view. Love it

Its not the putting the leaflet under the wiper you should worry about, its the zips and belt buckles scratching your paintwork as they lean across the car to put it under the wiper.

If they do scratch it then you can do them for criminal damage.

Unfortunately it is. But it is very annoying and just results in the leaflets being left on the ground.

I wish one day I could see the leafleters and I can insert the leaflets where they really belong!

As far as I know no one has been prosecuted for doing so......... But it very much depends on the content of your leaflet. if it could cause offense, it might be illegal........ it will depend on someone objecting to the authorities > and then the local judge, if it goes to court.
