easy out, they wanted to get to know a girl, and they don't feel the connection, so they take the easy out, which is obvious, and tell them that they will call, but they don't, don't feel bad, not the first time and wont be the last time,

NO...it's not a stupid question....it's a question asked by nice girls like yourself way too many times.
Because us men can be such aholes and not recognize a good
thing when we see it.
When we do get around to calling, by that time it's perhaps too late and we've now lost the opportunity for what might have been a perfect relationship with a really great person.
Now that is truly..."stupidity".

It isn't just men. Women do the same thing. Usually they are just being polite. And trying not to hurt some ones feelings. They just don't take into consideration that saying they will call and not doing so, is still going to hurt a person's feelings.

When a man says "I'll call you," we tend to think he means he'll call within the next few days. But for a man, "I'll call you," just means that he'll talk to you again sometime before he dies. One of the biggest complaints women have about men is that they lie. As women, we tend to let men get away with dishonesty because we so desperately want to believe in them. Maybe he is just not that in to you.

stupid answer: they are setting the tone for the relationship and playing a stupid game with you. When he finally does contact you again you're excited and happy. I think its about power and control. Who wants who kinda thing no?
he's telling you he's not really into you but thinks you're good enough for a lay when you do get in touch with him much later.
otherwise he's masking his feelings and wont tell you how much it is you turn him on and needs to get a grip on himself? who knows. Its stupid, Subscribe to it for many reasons we might I suppose, but I havent really dated for years or ever played such games so cant relate.

It could be a number of things.
Maybe the guy went out with you after just getting out of a relationship. then he got scared and realized that he didn't want to date right now. So with out calling you and telling you that he just said screw it.

Not meaning anything harsh, but they maybe regret that they ever met you. Or they see that they not going to get into your pants so thay just leave you alone and get another girl that is cheap. Don't worry. If they promised you something and didn't so it then they are bad people and you don't want to be associated with then, so actually you are better of.
