this all depends on the size of the building but if you take that a standard brick is 214mm long x 75mm deep and has 11mm of mortar surrounding it you probably could make a rough estimate. Finding the overall area of the brick and mortar and dividing the area of each face of the building by the area of a brick which will give you the rough estimate of how many bricks#
remember to add only mortar to one face not both so 214 +11 not 214+11+11 as you will get twice as much for a mortar joint
