What is happening with this trial for Saddam as it is turning into a farce.
The judge has been sacked because he said that Saddam was not a Dictator, and now his Defence team have resigned, what the heck is going on.
Now I agree that he should go on trial so why dont they just get on with it or, is this really all about Politics and a good show.
Put him on trial and then if foung guilty execute him.

Yep I agree, although Saddam is not at the forefront of my mind right now, I too would be interested to know why they are waiting.

I think they should just get on with it.

Hmmmm i smell an American setup.

The man is not guilty, yeah he may have done some questionable things...but through history there are many examples of it.

He will never get a fair trial, they can find him not guilty 10 times and will say he is guilty.

Just watch Fox News and all it's American propaganda. Most of it don't even make sense.

All i can say is at least when he was in power, the middle east was actually a more stable place. Now, it's about ready to destroy itself.

Iran, Iraq, Syria and Israel are the places to watch.

you can't force him to be executed. and the trial has only finished a portion of the crimes that they are putting him against. meanwhile, people's mindset of him might change as he was not what Bush expected him to be. he wasn't supporting terrorist in fact, he was surpressing them. and also where the hell are that weapons of mass destruction? he was in fact elected by his own people when he came to power. at least now some people gives credit to him as what's happening his country after US toppled him and couldn't control Iraq. it's driving into civil war which wasn't even possible while Saddam was in power.

They should be trying him on nuetral ground. In another Islamic country perhaps?

The trial needs to come outside of Iraq I think. It's a complete shambles.

While i agree he is guilty of some heinous crimes and should be punished for his sins...i also think that Bush and Blair are no better and have commited mass murder on an even bigger scale !
