I know this is very stupid, but serious answers please:
What does the sign with your hand where the first finger (thumb) and second finger and fifth finger are up,
and the third and fourth fingers are down (closed to your palm).
I see people mostly doing it in concerts.....

Is it clear what I'm talking about?

THANKS A LOT

It's funny, A friend of mine showed me a pen with a hand doing that same thing. I asked her what it meant, and while neither of us knew, we agreed that we thought it meant either "I Love You" or "Rock On". Again, though, I don't know. Good question!!!

It's the universal symbol for "ROCK ON"

But unfortunately now satinists are trying to take claim on the symbol saying they have claim on it, saying it has satinistic meaning.

But, for years its meant ROCK ON or ROCK N ROLL
