Fire is a natural occurrance. The forests often burn because a fire is started in the highly flammable oils of the pine trees and friction or lightning. This is good because it is the forest's way of clearing old forestation and starting new trees.

It is both. In order to be artificial something must be produced by intent. Even if what you get is not what you wanted, such as an Edsel. Fire predates man and intelligence, therefore it existed before there was anything to produce it artificially. So a lightning strike is natural and a lit match is not.

that's an interesting question...... is like those tricky q asked by kids...fire is always natural because it's forms in the same condition s every time. the oxygen maintains the burning and the hydrogen is the gas that actually burns. water is "made" of oxygen and hydrogen :) that's irony isn't?

It's natural. the substances combine with oxygen and produce huge amount of energy in the form of heat and light. It's combustion and natural phenomenon.

Fire is natural. It can be caused by lightning, heat (sun), and by rock and metal....
It is living and it breathes.

because you can't produce it but can make condition favourable ( or can provide raw materials / chemicals ) so that it can ignite itself.
