Freedom doesn't mean you can do as you damn well please and not take responsibility for your actions or the the consequences of your acts. Yes, I agree that laws are there to guide, regulate, control man's exercise of freedom. But they are there to make sure people don't take their freedom to the extent of harming another human being or living thing. Think of it this way - if everyone had the freedom to do as they please - I'll come into your home everyday and just get what I want simply because I'm free to do so. I can say anything I want, get anything I want, do whatever I want without taking responsibility for it - how would you feel if I went there and took your computer from you? You wouldn't be able to stop me but I won't be able to stop you either if you decide to shoot my brains out. Then what do we have if you multiply that in every household in every state in every country? You've got chaos and war - so where does freedom start or end? Give it some thought before you react about the laws being implemented on all of us.

Laws are the barriers, the limits of one's exaggerations.
Where there is no Law, there is corruption.
Modern world is corrupting the Laws of today. For some people, what was against the law yesterday, it is not today.
Corruption has made its price. A very cheap price. Like: Human Rights, abortions, gays, divorces etc.
Nothing seems to alarm the public, as if we are not warned of what are the consequences that these things bring with them.
An open gate to a Hell. In real time.

the law is there to guide but mostly to protect us from those we cannot protect ourselves from. It's true in many instances the law has worked against us but overall,it has been good to us.Somebody will kill or maim you and brag about it if there hadn't been a law against murder.Think about it.
