There are these lakes near my house, I like going by them when I go horseback riding, they are so peaceful, out in the middle of no where. It's beautiful.

twest: I hear you on that, I have kids also, unfortunately, if I go in there they keep knocking on the door calling me so at my house it isn't peaceful at all (until after they are asleep)

There is a private stretch of beach on the ocean that I am aloud to use . Also alone on a mountain horseback riding in the smokies.

there is this beautiful oasis right in the middle of the desert,
no civilization at all.
exotic flowers, hot springs, multiple little lakes with crystalline fresh water, and an amazing waterfall hidden among huge rocks...
it's a beautiful and different place where you can feel the magic
of nature surrounding you.
a place where the sun light shines in a very different way....
such a peaceful place.
such a peaceful light....
as if all this wasn't enough, there are real prehistoric pictures painted on the rocks and you are free to touch them
maybe more than one knows where this place is........and the magic it is charged with.

Anywhere that is outdoors near a lake, a pond, or a stream with no people around. Blue skies and sunshine most of all trees .Peaceful places are a matter of perspective.

West twin lake in northern Michigan. I take my pontoon boat out to the middle of the lake with a cooler full of beer. It is orgasmic.

Within the insanity of my own mind brought out by painting or sculpting. I honestly hear voices and they are comforting. When i'm not doing art however, i'm as normal as the least normal person you know outside of a nutthouse. Which is fine by me.
