I have recently discovered that I need to move off the island for work and now I am stuck with a newly furnitured two bedroom apartment. Is there a place in West Crete that I can sell my furniture--like a store that buys second-hand goods? Do people buy used furniture if I list it in the newspaper? Does anyone know someone who may like to buy it and/or take over my lease. ( Two-bedroom on the beach. )

Thanks for your help. (I only speak English)

Greece is the country of bargain; if you put an ad in the newspaper under "Furniture" or "Second Hand" (Eykairies) in the CHRISI EYKAIRIA or NEES AGGELIES, I'm sure that there will be people to buy them.
Is there any University close to where you live? If yes, then stick an ad on the announcements board; students are always after second hand furniture.
You can also try the shop you bought them from. Ask them if they can buy it back and bargain for a good price.
Good luck!
