if its already dried, you probably cant. Best thing to do is soak it really well and scrub it with an old toothbrush...try putting dish soap on it. But usually pretty hopeless

Well, goof off won't work but getting paint out of a cotton shirt is really easy. sissors HEHE. sorry , I don't know of any way either after it's dried. once it's dried it's there. BUT, you could try
water based hot soapy water and let it set. if you can ever get the paint soft you can get it out, but the paint will have stained the cotton fibers so you would still have a stain, even with the paint gone. with oil based paint you would use lacquer thinner (this stuff is really nasty so do it outside and well ventilated. but still have the stain problem.

depends on the type of paint, really. but it's easier if the paint is not yet totally dry on the cloth.

most paint stains would come off if you drip kerosene/thinner on the stain.

The paint might spread as it thins out so place several layers of absorbent paper (paper towel) underneath the cloth to absorb excess solvent.

The smell of thinner/ kerosene is your next problem but it's easy enough to remove. just use more detergent than usual.

Goodluck.

Use goo gone or goof off ~ I had white paint tracked onto my burgandy carpet & I didn't notice it until it was dried. I put a dab of that goof off on the spots & it came right off.
