I have a brother-in-law who is the same way. Having dealt with him for 6 years I can tell you four tactics that work.
1. avoid this person whenever possible, no contact means no conflict
2. for the sake of family members, try to act nicely to this person at family functions even if this means walking away
3. talk to them, sometimes there are reasons for the behavior that you are unaware of
4. understand that sometimes behavior from a sibling-in-law is actually a jealousy towards you for "stealing" a sibling. if this is the case, try to include her in outings with both of you so she doesn't feel forgotten/abandoned
hope some of this is helpful

Everyone was young once. Why does it bother you if she acts childishly? It's not your problem is it? If it is necessary to tackle the situation, there must be specific details. Some situations may be non-issues.

i am an only child, i married the eldest of 6 siblings... somehow i manage to get along with them... have a lot of patience... if yu are wiling enough, try to please her... take her shopping with you, cook her favorites, take her to movies... treat her as your own sister....
