Kerala means south india right? Well, how about Coconut? How is the demand for coconut in your country?

Until the trees grow, you can put some thing else like pineapple as an undergrowth in between coconut trees.

Else, since lots of flowers are used in india, how about flowers??

But whatever it is, you should first go to the Agriculture department or Officer of your area and tell him of your idea and ask him what are the best for the soil and explain ur situation and ask what are the easiest to manage plants... because when it comes to growing, although it looks easy, its not. It needs lots of attention and care.

All the best!
