One of the best solutions is from Mally Beauty. She has created a eyemakeup palette to create a really amazing smoky eye in only 4 steps which is so quick and mistake proof it is amazing! Her palettes come with a great eyeshadow base, a lighter color to put all over the lid, a darker color for contouring, and another to line over the eyelash. It also comes with an eyeliner to further define the eye! This is one of the best kits I have found to really help the average woman create an amazing eye look with no problem. The palettes come in about 4 or 5 color combinations are flattering on all skin tones. They are available on qvc and their website.

Well, first of all, NEVER USE CREAM EYESHADOWS.....it will look good for like two seconds and then as the day goes on and you blink (naturally), it will start creasing by the end of the day and look really bad.....Other than that, USE A BRUSH. Never and I repeat NEVER use those little wands you get in little eyeshadow containers...go out adn buy a nice fluffy eyeshadow brush...it makes a big difference. and never use your finger to apply it either...

I love to go to the MaryKay.Com site. There is a place to click on called Virtual Makeover...It helps you choose the right colors for your skin and eye color.
I like to print out all the colors and go to the store and get the cheaper make-up to go along with the colors that are best for me.
They also continue on to show you who to apply your make up on right!

First you start with a lighter shade and go all over your eyelids and up to your eyebrow. 2nd step is take a darker shade and just cover your eyelids. 3rd step is take a very dark shade and just go into the crease on top of eyelid.

what i always do is put some hand cream or some other nice cream on my eye-lids, so that the skin absorbs it and then you can smoothly put an eye-shadow.
