I have the same problem and I have never been on a porn site or bought anything like viagra online so it is a mystery to me.
What I do now is set my spamguard to filter spam into my bulk folder. Whilst it is annoying to have to keep on deleting all this junk mail at least it can be deleted in one fell swoop.
Also as already recommended set up another account and use that address for your personal stuff.

Get your e-mail address on the 'no junk mail' list, its not easy. The best way is change your email account and don't tell anyone your address except close friends. NEVER fill out anything online using your new email address, it will get flooded. Have one for that crap, and another for personal stuff.

open your mail and the sender of these mails will give you a link to unsubscribe you from their maling lists. you first do that one which is more effective than any thing.you may some where subscribed for their mails.

check out their tutorials because if they are not just being filtered into trash there are sites where you will be able to download something to help. For just plain good advice about computing I would recommend Worldstart's newsletters
