Awww hon, I think it's the fact that you feel guilty about having those thoughts that keeps those thoughts on your mind. You might almost feel as if you are cheating. If you are considering being with your ex-wife then that is cheating. But if you just think about her once and a while, kind of reminisce in your head. That's completely natural. The fact that she was your wife and your "first" means she's a HUGE part of your history. That's not a bad thing. I have the same problem (kind of). My ex-fiance was my "first" and I'm married now but I can't help but think of him from time to time. I've actually talked to him a couple times. We are long distance friends. I loved him at one point so of course I'm going to think about him.
Now if you mean that you are thinking about her sexually, that's normal as well. However, you do need to figure out why you are fantasizing about your ex-wife and not your current wife and make sure you get it under control. That is not something you should continue. It will weigh on you (trust me) and will affect you more than you know.
I know what you are going through is difficult. You just need to sit and think about why it affects you so much and take control of it. Also you might want to think about talking to your current wife (if you think she can handle it). Communication is key!

Because you're weak, undesirable, and you have no other options! I don't know why you're having those thoughts, but you need to get out create some fun for yourself--or you'll still be whining the same old story in five MORE years!!!

That's natural... I had a lover and had a strong sexual relation also. But I got married another girl. When ever I do sex with my wife, having thoughts about my Ex. girl friend. Because as you said, she was my first lover as well as my first sexual partner.

There will always be a bond there. You just have to learn how to move on. Maybe see a therapist for a bit. Your feelings are quite common.
