Try contacting your state bar association or a group called Legal Aid that offers low or no cost representation. One of these two groups should be able to help you out. You can find Legal Aid by typing in under yahoo search "Legal Aid - and your state of residence. Also try tyoing in your state of residence followed by "Bar Association". This should get you to the right website. Above all else, dress nicely like you would if going to church and try to be as polite as possible. Just remember to address the judge as "your honor". He or she has earned this title, and giving a little respect will go a long way in making you look better to the court.

Pro bono? doubtful.. did u try legal aid?????? and u conduct urself in a mature, educated manner, dont get into any arguements with ur x husband in front of the judge, this will only make u look childish.. conduct urself with class, and only tell the truth even if it makes u look bad, it will only make u look worse if u are shown ur a liar, so always answer honestly.. Have things written down before u show for court of things u want to say or address to the court this way u dont have to worry about fogetting after court is done..

Ask the Bar Room Secretary if there are some amicus-curie advocates i.e. the advocates provided by the State for low income group OR you can conduct your case yourself.

Pardon me, yet are you nuts? you have been putting up along with his crap for 13 years and you think of that detention center time is unjust? After he's already been to detention center two times for alcohol appropriate offenses? ADW on a police officer is an extremely severe cost; what's your foundation for calling detention center time unjust?? you're what we call an "enabler". You inspire his endured undesirable behaviour via sticking around and making excuses for him. then you certainly compounded the subject via bailing him out. If that minimize you out for a courtroom-appointed lawyer, nicely, you have made that mattress now sleep in it! With purely slightly of success he would get some clinical care in detention center. you want counselling besides -- probably lots. I want you success, yet devoid of huge clinical care this cycle is going to proceed to spiral downwards until eventually somebody dies. Statistically -- and regrettably -- which would be you. maximum possibly at his hand. the neatest component you probably did that day grew to become into call the police. The dumbest component you probably did in 13 years grew to become into to bail him out. there is not something that any one here can do to help you.
