Reasons for doing MBA include: change careers, improve career prospects, move into higher management, gain expertise in other areas, networking, exposure to new employers, promotion, etc etc etc. The question you should be asking is: What do I want out of an MBA? If you can answer that, then it will be much easier for you to choose the correct MBA program for your purposes.

Good luck!

You need to devote some time to thinking about the benefits and drawbacks to spending that amount of time to pursuing your MBA. No one can tell you the personal details that are specific to your unique situation which will be benefited or harmed by your time spent in furthering your education.

Overall, an undergraduate degree in business will not further you in your career field all that drastically unless you have some experience in your field already, but a graduate degree will. It's something to keep in mind while you're thinking about it.

Do it purely out of interest....nothing else. There was a recent study that showed that many MBA graduates do not end up securing better jobs upon graduation.
