Take a class at your local ymca or gold's gym offers a variety of dance classes. But for the most part people don't dance anymore all they do is exactly what you described.

casual dancing is fun and one does not have to be a dancing star to have fun, all you need to do is listen to the music and move freely and keep to the beat.... fun of dancing is to relax and enjoy yourself......
