What is talent? Where does it come from?

Are you born with it? Can you learn it? Or is it a divine gift...?

Talent.....Everybody has some kind of talent within himself.So obviously all are born with some kind of talent.It can be quite ordinary like organising efficiently,housekeeping or any other mundane jobs.The only problem is to recognize the talents we have.The talents lie latent within us and we usually need someone to point it out to us.



Some talents are rare like singing in a sweet voice,storywriting,
poetry writing, and many other unique talents.You can say that these could probably be considered as divine gifts of God.
I consider the art of bouncing back after receiving a bumper blow whether it is mental or physical .....to be the greatest talent of all.That is a really divine gift
So what can we infer-are we born with talents?Unless we have a talent,we cannot learn it.It can also be considered to be a divine gift since unless you have a gift,it cannot be strenthened to a talent.

Talent may be defined as a high mental ability or aptitude of a person, who exhibits through a special quality he possess. For instance, if he is an actor the talent will be known from the way he performs. Some people achieve the talent by hard work with devotion.
The talent is a God gifted rare quality. Talent does not come automatically. It can be reconised in a male or female by birth.

Some are born with talent, so this gives them an advantage but we are capable of learning therefore talent can be progressive, and practice makes perfect therefore we are capable of making ourselves more intelligent, more creative and more talented, it's just that some have a natural ability-gift and it gives them a advantage-it is still their choice whether they make the talent work for them or not

Even if you learn it, it is still a gift. Some people can go to school for playing the piano and still not be as adept as someone who didn't go to music school.

Talent is 90% hard work, 10% gift. When you keep practising doing something, you naturally become good at it and thus talent is created.

Of course there are some who are more adept at doing certain things but if you were to ask them, they put in many hours of hard work. Think of Michael Jordan who is undisputably one of the best basketball players in NBA, he works so hard to separate himself from the good. He became great!

talent is something rare found beneath the Earth. Miners would go deep into the Earth in search of it. Now it has been almost completely been mined out and a good amount can be found on the New York sports teams.
