On Sept 11 2001 after we were attacked I went to the local Red Cross and helped, then donated a pint of blood and at midnight picked up a major companys payroll (checks) and drove 3800 miles to deliver their payroll. It took 5 days. I dont recommend being by yourself after something like that. Anyway I listened to ALOT of radio during the trip and was surprised to say the least that there was a shortage of flags. Then to find out how many were made in China!!!!! It was very disturbing to say the least. So I came home and hand painted my 78 Chevy truck. So yes my "flag" was made in the U.S.A. I would not have it any other way!!

China. My employer gave me a "Made in China" flag a few years ago to celebrate Independence Day, and I threw it in the trash in my office. In my opinion, that was not a real American flag. It was a disgusting mockery of one and didn't deserve the respect of a proper flag retirement. I went out and bought a "Made in USA" flag and display it proudly every Independence Day (among other days). -yk
