POLIO doesnt affect BOTH hands its usually a localized disease.
If both hands are trembling then it could be BENIGN ESSENTIAL TREMOR but this disease usually commences at more advanced age.
You may try Porpranolol (inderal) as this may greatly reduce the shaking.
its available by prescription.
However my best advice is to see a NEUROLOGIST specialized in Movement Disorders.

We are the similar in some ways. My hands tremble too whenever I face nervousness. The doctor said, I have anxieties. I think you are not under intense anxiety... The doctor's diagnosis for you is right. Brain is responsible for it and you can have surgeries if you can afford it. It'll help. Currently, I'm taking medications for my anxiety and somehow it helps. I wish I can afford to go abroad so that I can have therapies and surgeries if necessary.

Hi there !

I think...involuntary abnormal movements of the extremities is something to be taken seriously...
It could be due to umpteen number of reasons from "stress related" ..to "local musular or neurological disordes" !
My sincere advise will be to :
contact a GOOD physician and also
a GOOD neurologist .
Afterall, nowadays..majority of the neurological disorders can be brought under control...

best wishes..

I have the same problem but I always thought It might be post war syndrome. Stress makes the body act in strange ways. If you find a answer let me know.

Check first you are diabetic or at pre diabetic level. Diabetics also cause such symptoms. Go to a diabetic specialist and check your blood glucouse level and also glycated hameaglobin or A-1 c report. This will clear all doubts.
