Don't worry so much!! Enjoy your pregnancy - it's a totally awesome time in your life. I thought the most exciting thing about being pregnant was not knowing what my baby would look like - I really wanted to do the new 3D Ultrasound, but, loved the excitement so much that I couldn't bring myself to do it. You'll miss the little things about being pregnant once these days are gone, so enjoy them while you can, and soon you'll have a baby to love and live for. :)
And, medical science has come a long way - your doctor will tell you if there is anything to be concerned about. Good luck!

If the doc thought anything was wrong he would have told you by now As far as deformity's. Although there are still chances there is something the doctor missed or simply can't detect. For the most part i would not worry because the ultrasound and other test would have shown any major problems by now. Technology has come a looong way. As long as your in he hands of good doctor i wouldn't worry.

If you have a scan the doctor normally checks at 20 weeks for any deformaties. You also can choose to have a test at 16 weeks to make sure there is no down syndrome etc. The're pretty accurate. You shouldn't be worried about this now, you should be waiting in anticipation of your beautiful baby boy. Just enjoy your last few weeks.

Girl, you're now 8 mos pregnant. whatever you're worried about does not help. it will only make u more stressful.
At 8 mos, doc can probably see your baby more clearly from the ultra sound scan, such as the head, legs and hands. As far as your doc has examined, if he didn't find any problems, such as heart rate, movements, etc, then your baby should be fine!
At this stage of pregnancy, you should enjoy it more but not to worry too much. you and your doc can do nothing about it. if you believe your baby is healthy and he/she sure is. this is your 1st child and i understand that. don't worry so much, your baby is fine. enjoy having him/ her in your womb cos soon you'll give birth. be happy and blessed.

I was worried sick when I was pregnant. The whole pregnancy. I wish I could tell you to relax, but its your instinct to worry about your child. Since you only have one month to go, just sit back and take a breath. Your doc should be able to see through ultrasounds if theres any problems. Your baby will be fine and healthy. Just pray. I promise the first time you hold your child, regardless, you wont remember what all you wasted your time worrying about. Good Luck

You should have had two ultrasounds and possibly a blood test or two to determine approximate health. Unfortunetly it is just that approximate, but very close to accurate. I know your feeling. I had the US and BTs and still worried. If you are this far along and all has gone well, you should have a healthy little wee one. Good luck!

All you can do is have good prenatal care, get the test done, eat healthy, and reduce stress, oh and get plenty of rest! You have to relax and hope for the best. Some issues aren't known until they are born but don't worry about that but concentrate on preparing for your bundle of joy and the struggles ahead.

well if you are 8 months you should have had an ultra ssound which will let the doctor know if the baby is the right size and any physical deformaties.... so if he hasnt said anything to you then i am sure you are gonna have a healthy baby ...but next time you see your doctor ask him...and tell him you are worried gl

Did you have an ultrasound? Your doctor is well aware of your baby's health and I am sure is prepared for the birth. You just have to wait and see for the rest. There are no guarantees when it comes to pregnancy and childbirth.

You should have had an ultrasound around 5 months. The 3D ultrasounds they do now can show up pretty much anything that could be wrong. They can check the heart, lungs, brain.... Development of arms, legs.....
It is perfectly normal for you to have the fears & concerns that you are having!
