Anousheh Ansari, an Iranian by birth who moved to the USA at 16, is now the first Iranian woman in space, after paying out about $20 mil for the place. The USA have told her not to wear the iranian flag next to the stars & stripes on her space suit, which she wanted to do to try & promote peace & reconiliation between the two countries.
a personal view is that she's paid for the place, why in heck should the US government have a say in what she wears?

First of all please excuse me for my poor english.
For all of my worldmates who close their eyes and open their mouth!!

Please take a look at here http://www.persianstudents.org/archives/002273.html
and note the Iranian Flag on her arm.

Now take a look at this dirty fake flag at here : http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/asia/iran/flag-of-iran.jpg

As you see the flag on Anooshe's arm does not contain that forced "allah" sign in center of it.
For those who are judgeful and think enough it is enough to say that she does not beleive in dirty new iranian flag,

exactly like 95% of other iranians.

Please keep in mind , 95% of Iranians hate their central government. Even most Iranians do not beleive in Islam.

We are not terrorists.Iranians are very peacefull people and all beleive in democracy (of course not the democracy which President Bosch brought to Iraq!!!).

DO NOT JUDGE ABOUT PEOPLE BASED ON THE PEOPLE RULING ON THEM!
And do not judge on people based on the pictures, movies and news.these pictures, movies, news are what our government
wants to show, not what we want to show.

I Love you all!
and,
LONG LIVE FREEDOM

Because they are more interested in destroying each others character than whats happening to our country and its people. Maybe Obamas true colors are beginning to show thru. But with the millions they have from contributions, they dont realize what the american dollar is worth. Besides these two idiots are out there playing little kid games and calling each other names. None of these candidates has earned the right to be named President of United States yet and probably never will. Maybe someone should buy them a newspaper so they can see whats happening in the real world

Wear the Imperial Iranian flag from the shah's time. That's what it was when she was back in Iran. Let's face it. Gestures like that to reconcile a country that preaches the US is the Great Satan aren't going to do squat. I say be honest. Don't hide the hatred. They don't and it is time we didn't either. A big extended middle finger to those Dark Age wanna bes in Iran. Sit and sulk in your robes and wonder why we don't want to deal with losers like yourselves!

You know, I seriously think that if we all got rid of our present governments, we'd all get along with other countries. I don't know the solution, and I know there are some groups of people in other countries that will hate us no matter what, but it seems like so many blame our government and hate us for that, and vice versa. We are all humans and I keep hearing that whether or not we like to hear this, we are all distantly related. I don't know how that works, but I've been reading up and keep seeing it.
If she wants to do that to promote peace, etc., then our government needs to let her. That would be like parents of two families fighting and the child wants to wear a sweater to school with both family names, in hopes to bring them closer to peace. What's wrong with her wanting to do what she wants with the flags or whatever on her suit. She paid a LOT of money, SHE is the customer and the customer is supposed to always be right!

If she wants to wear the flag of a terrorist harboring country on her shoulder then she should perhaps go up in a terrorist harboring countries shuttle, and not one built by the US. Oh... wait a minute, if she were still in Iran she would most likely never get a chance to do what she has been allowed to do in the US.

I think she should be able to what's the big deal? Governments can be so stuffy about things. They should let her.

Just let her be.... best way at it. I'm so sick of governments (USA or not) that tell their citizens what they can or cannot do especially if it physically doesn't hurt anybody.
