Mine certainly did. I was quite the idealist in my youth, very liberal on almost every issue. I am still liberal on certain issues (pro choice) but my opinions have changed in areas like crime, national security etc.

I have always been more liberal in my views... but what is that anyway. It's just a word. I think it's important to look at the issues and not a party... but unfortunately some people don't do that. That is how we get a president that has one of the lowest approval ratings. People need to break out from being defined as a liberal, conservative..etc... and elect according to knowledge, strength and virtue. We are lacking that in the White House. That is something that hasn't changed as I grew older and something I wouldn't compromise by voting Democrat simply because I voted Democrat before.

I am of course pro-life and that makes the Democratic party unattractive. I have probably gotten much more liberal on other issues. On how much power over people police have and on the money wasted in the name of national security I am proud not to be at all conservative.

YES! I was very conservative as a young person. I thought of everything as right or wrong. I was also very judgmental and believed that most were wrong.
I have met so many different people and now see nearly all things as varying shades of gray. I also have a deep love for humankind, like Jesus says we should.
I still have more conservative ideals than liberal, but when I have taken a political quiz, it turns out that I am split between libertarian and constitutionalist!

Absolutely! I was liberal, then democrat, now republican. A lot of my earlier views grow out of rebellion from my parents. But then I grew up, and realized that they were right about everything.

Oh yeah... Far left when young (White Panthers, etc). Now, I've gone so far left, I might be considered (by some) a right wing extremist. Heh. Go figure...

I find I am becoming more conservative on some things like national defense, illegal immigration and a lowering tolerance for extremists of any kind.

Someone once said "If you're young and a conservative, you have no heart, but if you're old and liberal, you have no brain."
