My ex said he's being shipped to Arkansas to take the GED test before they let him go to BCT in January. Is it possible to be send out of state to take it? He resides in Cali.

the Army sends people around the country and the world. However they will not send anyone fron cali to arkansas to take a GED test. Your ex is full of it.

He's volunteering, so he does what they say. And if he is already in the military he has no choice! I would doubt that the military would go to all that expense for a GED, especially from Cali to hicksville!

Seriously though, I've heard about this being done before. I don't know why... probably just the bureaucracy
