It depends on what kind of fish they are. Many, if not most, fish will eat a majority of their eggs. This is why so many eggs are laid, to make up for the mortality rates which are generally huge, usually over 90%. You should try googling your breed of fish and reading as much as you can about them. You might have to take the egss out to save them, or slide a piece of glass or perspex between them and their parents.

Just about all parent fish will eat their young. If you want to have fry then take the parents out of the tank too.

You can get a Nursery Tank which sits in the main tank.The Eggs be safe in there!The After hatching and when they are big enough -you can return them to the main tank!
