How old do Rabbits have to be before they will mate?

My drope-eared bunny started rubbing up my sister's leg when he was just 3 months old. So I guess it should be around there...

It depends on the breed of rabbit. It can be a young as 2 months or as old as 7 or 8. Check with your vet, or do some internet research on your particular breed.

It can't be too old because rabbits only live to be 5 or 10 years old. I think that it is more like five to seven years old.

Rabbits become adults and able to mate when they are three and a half months old.

They can mate as early as a few months of age but do not normally reach sexual maturity until about six months. Siblings should be separated as soon as they are weaned.
