I think getting Cutcliffe back to handle the offense has saved Fulmer's job (at least for now). After last year, being 2-1 right now doesn't look so bad. Tough games remain against Georgia, Alabama and LSU but the last two are in Knoxville. It looks like an 8-4 or maybe even 9-3 season for the Vols, a huge improvement off of last year. I don't think the Vols are at the same level as Georgia, or Florida in the SEC East and Auburn or LSU in the SEC West, but they look clearly better than anyone else in the SEC and bowl bound this season.
