I know of a couple who met in Secondary School married soon after, this year they are enjoying their 40th wedding anniversary. They had two children and now have 6 grandchildren and I believe they could be great grandparents now!

I was just 14 when I met my first real partner and we got engaged when I was 16, but split when I was 17. I married someone else, married for 25 years then I met my first partner again and we have been living together for over two and half years and will get married as soon as we possibly can

I met my now ex husband when I was 18 and we got married 2 years later. We were married 24 years. He was 46 when his mid life crises hit and his coping mechanisms all failed. He went from woman to woman until he found one with a house. This has been his MO. I was young and stupid and no experience in life to know better. His first wife's family promised him a home if he married her and he did and the deal fell through so he divorced her after he met me. I had a home and after his financial blunders I didn't have one anymore. The third wife is just as stupid as wife one and two. She actually believes she can change him or help him get better. I should have listened to his family and friends when they told me he was no good. I was in love and blind as a fool can be. I warned this woman and she like me thought she was all that and that pride is what made us all make errors. Beware women men are real preditors and they consume everything without thought to the future. It is all about the now and getting their fill of whatever it is they want at the moment. Don't get involved with anyone that your family or friends warn you about no matte what you feel because the feelings will screw you over big time. Reality check those feelings and better plan for the future. Don't invest a lifetime with someone who doesn't love you.

I like to think of mine a a bit of a fairy story...!
I met and fell in love with my hubby when I was the rip old age of 13 & he was 15...! We went out together on and off until I was 18 but during an off period I met man 5 years my senior who I was to eventually marry when I was 20 who was offering security and a future that at the time my first love was not able to provide. We were together for 20 years and had a beautiful son, however, things were not to remain happy as his drinking became more and more and turned him into an abusive monster to both me and our son, time to end an 18 year marriage.
During the traumatic split I happened to bump into my first love who I hadn't seen for 12 years and he supported me hugely through this difficult time, having gone through marriage and divorce himself by then. We finally gave into to our true feeling's and realised how much we loved each other still and became a couple again, we've certainly made up for the lost 20 years together, having now had a beautiful son together, and made a wonderful family enviroment for my 16 year old son.
And the happy ending is...everybody if fantastically happy now, my ex hubsband and his now future wife are like our best friends we've even all been out together for dinner and my eldest son is over the moon with his extended family and his relationship with his dad has seen major improvements.
So in answer to this question, yes I did marry my first real partner after all...eventually!

We met at 15, went our separate ways at 17 to experience the world, got back together at 21 and married at 24. We've been married 10 years this year.

i married my first real partner. i was 15 years old when we met. he was already married, he was 21 at that time. anyway his marriage was on the rocks, so i dated him a few times. as time went on he got back with his wife and i married someone else. this was in 1973. then in 1975, i left my then husband and moved back to my home town. 2 days after i got there , my first love came calling on me. and we been together ever since. we married in 1980, have 3 kids, 3 and a half grandkids.

I met him when I was 16. We lived together for 10 years and had 2 kids then married,now 6 years later we are separated.

we got together at the age of 16 engaged at 19 married at 22, had our first son at 27 (we are both the same age) our second son at 33 and we will be celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary this November so we have actually been together for 34 years and are still as happy now as we were at 16 (soz if that sounds horribly cheesy) BUT ITS TRUE
