They were over rated before the loss to Michigan. Some sports media were saying they were bound for the National Championship. Again, it was a huge hype campaign to boost ND funds for a sorry team that has done nothing in the last, what, 5-6 years...

I thought they were overrated BEFORE they got humiliated by Michigan. Aren't Notre Dame almost always overrated? Given Notre Dame and any other school that's 2-1, which school is going to be ranked higher? It'll almost always be Notre Dame, regardless of whether they're any good or not. It's like how a 6-5 Notre Dame school will get an invite to a decent bowl game while a 9-3 school from a lesser conference will be sitting at home for the holidays.

Notre Dame is #a million via the distinctive function of being the sole unbeaten team different than Ohio State being undefeated. If Ohio State wasn't under a bowl ban, they could be #a million. In that appreciate, Alabama and Georgia must be grateful that Ohio State can't play in a bowl or the BCS identify recreation could be between OSU and Notre Dame. would desire to you think of how undesirable of a identify recreation this could have been? simply by fact of this there fairly needs to be a playoffs in substantial college soccer. If there have been a DI college playoff, Notre Dame could be uncovered for his or her offensive shortcomings. there isn't any way they'd carry with an Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Oregon or Kansas State with the mediocre offense they have top now. Notre Dame has a super protection and that they rode that protection like a bronco to a 12-0 season. they are going to would desire to journey them bronco for an further recreation. distinctly if Alabama wins the SEC identify recreation and the Irish has to play them interior the BCS identify recreation. The Irish fairly do not tournament up nicely against the Tide. in the event that they are in a position to't quit McCarron from going wild, it would desire to get gruesome for Notre Dame.

perdidiobum obviously doesn't know the history of Notre Dame and Michigan State. Spartans have won 7 of the last 9 meetings, and given that it's early in the season and MSU hasn't gone through its annual late October swoon yet, they will beat Notre Dame.

I think they were overrated, but now at no.12 in the AP Poll, I don't think they are overrated. Michigan dealt them a devasting loss at home, but they are still capable of winning the rest of their games except for USC. This weekend at Michigan St will be a good test to see if ND is overrated. If ND does not thrash MSU badly, if they struggle and just barely win or lose the game, the overrated tag will stick for the rest of the year. I think they will rebound and destroy Michigan St but I didn't think Michigan could beat them last week, so who knows?
