To clarify it is a guy saying he IS heterosexual but he watches-- out in open with his best male friend-- gay men having sex with each other. Also, the best friend does have girlfriends on rotation... but one of the ex's says "He likes stuff up his butt all the time.. and gets mad at me because I didn't like receiving anal sex. Also he likes to watch videos of INFANTS having sex-- illegal stuff he finds online-- you know pedophile stuff"
So when she told me this-- I just don't know what to think about my male sometimes romantic friend that I just know he watches gay male porn on a regular but NOT secretive basis. And I tell him "Look it is okay if you are gay.. but it is NOT okay to deny you are and are hurting MAN women that you keep having affairs with and say you are NOT gay or bi. You are hurting OTHERS and may be harming them too-- AIDS,etc. And of course hurting yourself by not being honest about your sexual desires. IT IS NOT WRONG to be gay.. it is WRONG to pretend ..

Denial is the biggest problem. Obviously your friend(s) is denying to himself and everyone else his obvious sexual preference.
Yet there is also the possibility that he may simply be curious about the "other" side of sex, but this would be more of a "phase", a temporary thing he would be doing (watching gay p*rn with buddies). The fact he seems to watch this on a regular basis just prooves that he does enjoy it and that he obviously "gets off" on the concept.
All the signs point to denial of latent (or rather, not so latent, but more obvious) homosexuality. I find it sad that even in today's world of so-called open-minded-ness where we are all used to the concept of homosexuality, people still are frightened to be judged and labeled as "gay".
There is nothing wrong with being gay. It's not like a disease or a mental disability. It is simply a sexual preference, just the same as heterosexuality. Your friend(s) should stop pretending to be something he isn't and have the "balls" to admit he likes the same-sex.

Most heteros I know encluding my husband are homophobic to the point where they won't watch gay porn and unless a man is very happy about his sexuality and gay porn is not a manly threat not to many will watch without having some kind of a negative reaction

I dont think its normal for hetero's to watch gay porn on a regular basis, he would have to be gay or bi. That why we have strip clubs, magazines and regular porn, we love the visuals. but watching gay porn on a regular basis would have to be a turn-on of some type, so I believe that person would have to be gay or bi.

it's normal to watch gay porn only if you are gay. it's not called "gay" porn for nothing. the exception to this is watching girl on girl eat fest action, which is a real turn on for a lot of straight men. hence, your friend must be gay. cheers!

Not on any basis. Heterosexual males considergay porn obscene. Most hetro males are quite homophobic. If this person does, then they are hiding something from themselves.
