For example, would you talk about your same-sex relationship in Relationships and Family?
A couple months ago, I talked about shaving my arms because "my beloved" urged me to try it, and girls and women talked about how "he" was wrong until I mentioned that beloved was a woman who's shaved her arms forever.
I've also mentioned being bi in Motor Sports to freak out idiots who ask whether a driver's gay, and I got ten points for agreeing with a guy in Music that Gretchen Wilson is really quite smoking hot. And as you can see, my avatar's quite clearly female.
So, do y'all do that? Why or why not?

Wow. Some of y'all really do need to learn the differences between "somewhere" and "everywhere", not to mention "all the time" and "sometimes."

I think it depends on question asked or answered
I tell everyone i know i am a pre op transsexual
but when talking about sport or food or what ever
it is not inportant that i tell them, so i don't
it is ok to be open but you don't need to rub it in all the time
think about those people that don't like the glbt
i don't like the religon part of this site so i don't go there
if someone do not like the gay part of this site they don't have to come here
so the people wanting to know what is in a fruit salad for example
don't get anwers like
i'm gay an like to have as many banna's i can get my hands on
but i do find it interesting some times when talking about guy things and i have to got the female avatar i'm shaw it would be hard for some people to work out what is going on

I don't wear my sexuality like a banner, but if someone asks me a question e,g, " Do you have a wife or girlfriend?" I'll give them an answer. Therefore when answering the questions on here I apply the same. However answering a question on, for example, repairing a punctured tyre has nothing to do with my sexuality, so I wouldn't feel the need to mention it at that point just for the sake of it.

Sure, I ask/answer questions in other categories. I'm not in the closet in life, and will not be in the closet on the computer either!
And I totally agree that Gretchen Wilson is a hottie!!!

No, I see no need to do that whatsoever. Many people are very prejudiced and would pass by my answer (or question) just because of that added information. I feel it really is none of their business and has little if anything to do with what I am inquiring or answering about.

I am, i don't care what the yahoo community thinks about me, because as it seems, most of them are denying themselves, so picking on me, makes them feel better, so, yeah, i'm JUST as open on there, as i am here! :)

I never lie about who I am, so, if the subject comes up, I am honest about it. otherwise, I usually don't "advertise" who I am.
