Actually I will not allow my kid to listen to him speak, because he is such a bad example, like a lousy book....you steer your kid away. After all this President is inarticulate, albeit his home language, grammatically void, and inept with vocab and pronounciation.

My next question woul be why do the REPUB RIGHTwing always bring Clinton into the picture when they are unable to defend Bush? Maybe justanotherschmendrik can answer that one. What part of Clinton's presidency is an excuse for BUSH's lies? For his pretending that 9/11 had anything to do wit Iraq, failing in Afghanistan and for folling schmendriks like you?

I am perfectly aware that Lincoln and many others did not write their own speeches. Thats okay and I am thankful that BUSH's speeches are written for him so we are not embarrased everytime the guy speaks. Did you hear him toasting KOFI in the UN today. It was an impromptu speech. He could not hold a sentence. He had nothing substantial to say - in short it was embarrasing. I bet Licoln was quite able to make an articulate toast. Lincoln was a statesman, BUSH is a Cowboy who rides his horse backwards.

Never did his homework; or
Never attended school;

Too much alcohol & drug use- re-fried brain;
Unsure of himself;
Low IQ;

Notice when he speaks without a written speech, ie. improv he really makes a fool of himself.

With malice for none and charity for all maybe we shouldn't be so hard on the man. It is entirely possible that he doesn't mangle the language intentionally and that there is an underlying organic cause to his speech patterns.
It could the result of dain bramage from the long term and excessive use of intoxicants
It could be early Alzheimer's
It could that he's on meds for something that we won't find out about for another generation
Regardless it's hard to ignore the fact that the his dots don't always connect.

The question then becomes whether not Mr. Bush's speech impairments are limited to and only concern the speech centers of his brain, in which case [ like Bill Clinton's sexual habits] they are a private matter and are not a cause for alarm by the American people or whether the speech impairments are tied into the parts of Mr. Bush's brain that are used for reason, in which case the American people do have the right to know.

Are you aware that the Bush administration abandoned the Israeli – Palestinian issue?

Are you aware that Bush abandoned the war on terror to invade Iraq which, according to your own Republican Congress’s report on pre-war intelligence:
there were NO terrorists in Iraq before Bush invaded
was no connection between Iraq and OBL, AQ, or any terrorist organization
Hussein did not allow training camps
Hussein hated AQ before we did
Hussein did not hide al-Zargawi - he tried to have him arrested

Are you aware that:
The Taliban are stronger in Afghanistan now that they were before Bush invaded

He does not have the capacity to learn and that is why someone suggested that he make education his "pet" project. He is an embarrassment to our nation. He gives Yale a very bad name. I agree with you. He probably could undergo coaching and extended training programs that would improve his presentation but he should have done this while in school or shortly afterwards.

I feel there are 2 must haves for a person to become the president of USA. It is important for the president to be a great speaker and speak the English language eloquently. It is also important for him to have served in the armed forces since he is their commander and chief.
