The Snorks were a short lived cartoon created by Hanna-Barbera in 1984 and they premeried on NBC. This cartoon was originaly created by Freddy Monnickendam for a Beligiam comic book called ...."The Snorks" This cartoon took pace in Snorkland, an underwater world where the small, colorful Snorks lived with all the stuff us humans have.
All Snorks have a snorkles on their heads which are "protuding gills that propelled them swiftly through the water" in other words they are breathing tubes that come out of the top of their heads.
When a Snork became excited, his tube made a "snork" sound. The snorks are on cartoon network at 12:00AM est and 9:30AM est The snorks are on the CTN at 6:00 am on saturdays and sundays.
The main CHARACTERS of this cool cartoon are Allstar....the stud of the show(Allstars's full name is Allstar Seaworthy), Casey (her last name is Kelp)...his pretty redhead girlfriend. She had two long red pony tails which stuck out from either side of her head. Plus Tooter and Daphne. There's a bad guy in every cartoon and in this one it's Snorkland's nasty governor and his son junior.
I use to watch it when I was a little kid also ..I liked it =)

Yes. I remember them. They were around the same time that I was infatuated with Captain Caveman and JabberJaw. I miss those cartoons. That was entertainment.

"Sea Monkeys" They're actually some type of small aquatic plankton or something like that. Unfortunately they don't possess those faces of the mom and dad and kids that were the "artistic conception" in the advertisment.
