Usually pain in that area is your round ligaments stretching. I wouldn't worry too much about, but do mention it to your doctor on your next visit.

You need to be really careful about this... when I was 8 weeks pregnant, I was taken to the emergency room with really bad pain on my right side. They found a cyst on my ovary (it was later found to be benign) that was twisting around, and had twisted the ovary so bad that it cut off the blood circulation to the ovary itself, and was basically killing it. I had to go in for emergency surgery and have the cyst removed. They wanted to wait 5 weeks because they prefer not to operate on a pregnant woman until the baby is at least at 13 weeks, but, there was no way I could handle the pain that long - I had been taken into the ER by ambulance.
I'm not trying to scare you or anything, because not too long after this surgery, I had an 8.5 pound baby at 41 weeks who is absolutely perfect. I just don't want you to blow it off. What I would suggest, if the pain isn't too bad right now, is to mention this when you make your next ultrasound appointment (this is the one of the best ways that they can find the cyst without operating). It's better to be safe than sorry.
Another worst case scenario would be appendicitis, which should also be taken seriously. You might want to make an appointment with your doctor to go over these things...
Good luck with everything and congratulations on your little one!! :)

just like you i had the same exact prob. you should get an ultrasound as soon as you can. my right side hurted to the point where the pain gets really sharp sometimes making it unbearable to move. i was working at the time for my parents and my mom insisted i leave early to go to the ER (i didn't have any medical insurance etc). They took a urine sample plus blood test and I came back to be pregnate (which i knew). So they schedule me for an ultrasound and found I had a cyst on my ovary.
it's called ovarian cyst... my OB said that is normal and that its apart of my body and should dissolve back into my body. although if fluids get caught in it, it will cause some pain. Normally it should go away.
luckily! mines went away... i'm 5 months into my pregnancy and the baby is doing great. a friend i know had a cyst too but hers remained. she had to carry the baby and cyst throughout 9 months. Her baby is a yr old now and she's getting her's surgically removed. So, i'm guessing it depends on your body and it might not even be a cysts, it could just be the stretching of your pregnancy. =)
good luck and congrats!!!

Your body's going to go thru a lot of changes over the next few months-and beyond. If anything worries you, don't hesitate to ask friends, mothers, etc. If something is truly bothering you, see your doctor. Any good baby doctor will be willing to listen to you, and be very thourough in finding out what the problem is. A good doctor will not shrug off any questions you have as "unimportant" or "silly". It's your body, your baby-you have a right to know. The pain in your side may just be your body stretching out to accomodate junior, or it could be something more serious. When in doubt-get it checked out. Good luck to you!

Yes I had this too, although eventually it was both sides and especially hurt when I turned over at night. I was worried about an ectopic pregnancy where the baby grows in the fallopian tubes, but it was nothing to worry about in the end. If you are really worried like I was, ask the doctor for an early ultrasound scan to rule out ectopic pregnancy.

I had 4 babies and never had that one, but that does NOT mean that it is not normal. Just like our children, every pregnancy is different. Please do yourself a favor and give your doctor a call. Believe me, he or she is used to getting plenty of phone calls from worried prospective mommies. This is much better than worrying about it.
I DO know that your baby will pick up on negative vibes from you. Your baby, even though only 10 weeks, is already well-attuned to your moods. God bless you and your little one!!

Round ligament pains. It is normal, but if it is unbarable and associated with a fever then you might have a tubal, but at 10 weeks I doubt it.

Your appendix is on your appropriate factor so that is in maximum circumstances now no longer that. i'd wager that's barely your uterus bobbing up. it may additionally be painful, purely look at replacing positions and that are meant to assist incredibly. make absolute to assert this on your checklist. I actual have had sharp pains on my appropriate factor many times whether checklist stated it was once purely bobbing up pains.

are you sure it's the ovary? Ligaments and tendons start stretching which I know caused pain for me.
Congrats!

Well you might be feeling cramping and cramping/ pain around your tummy is because your uterus is stretching so it contracts causing pain. It contracts to get bigger room for the baby
