My computer shuts off completely when i watch videos, music clips or pictures that may overload. What could be done so i could fix it Myself?

You more than likely need to update your video driver to you video card. All video information goes through this card including video music clips not just games. The easiest way to find out who makes your video card is to right click your mouse on your desk top, in the list that pops up select properties, then select settings, then click advanced, then click adapter and in this box it should give you the name of the company that makes your video card. For example, mine says geforce2 GTS. Now type the name of your card in your search engine on the net and in the wording include the word, driver. Download the newest driver from that companies web site. Open the file and it should download the driver in your computer and ask for a restart and there you go. Good luck.

try deleting your cookies and doing a scan disk and defragment it then i would go down load a good ram optimizer

also see if your computer is over heated... cause some times the fan on your computer that cools your computer down may be blocked, by objects around it.
