I think it is a very smart move not to support this anorexic culture.

Very positive! A good move in the right direction to discourage the stick-thin model figure every girl aims to be.

I think it's about time! Too bad the United States isn't do that, we're getting overloaded with models and especially celebrities that are very uberskinny. It is definitely creating the wrong message for our teens and women!!

i think its STUPID! are people forgetting why they are going to fashion shows. Its for the clothes, not the models. Its our own fault anyways for making these not so special people into celebrities. it would be different if the designers only made the clothing for people of their size, but they dont. all that clothing is tailored and custom-fitted to the models measurements. So will this mean that they will ban plus-size models who are too big to model next? you know its also unhealthy to be too big as well. it has to work both ways....if someone is too skinny to model, there has to be some who are too big to model as well.

I think society would benefit from a little less government interference rather than more. The state has no business legislating how people should look.

I think its awesome that they are banning these girls. So many young girls look up to these models for their looks and if they look so skinny like they do the girls are more likely to get eating disorders just so they can look sick like those models do.

In this day and age everyone has their own opinion on what is fat and what is too skinny.
Why can't we focus on people eating properly, exercising and looking after themselves?
I am sick of fat people hating skinny people and vice versa.

Good! It's gonna be time for that, because many young girls and some woman mirror them on those twiggy's and that causes anorexia!

I can't stand skinny models. LADIES! For the love of God and beautiful women, do not get skinny like this. Men love women who look like....WOMEN. Don't do this please. Enjoy your body, if you want to eat, eat. Skinny women are not attractive. Do not buy into the Paris Hilton hype machine. Please enjoy your womanly curves, we love them too!
