asking a question directed to women (and gasp! gay guys) what male celebrity they'd most like to come home and find laying naked in their bed. I've seen much more sexually explicit, racist, hateful and nasty questions and comments on here and never reported anyone. Should I start reporting every question or comment that I don't like?

No...it's happened to most of us...some of the worst abuser's questions are never remove..while some harmless ones like your's are in violation...I don't think that anybody at Y/answers is really paying too much attention....don't take it to heart...somebody for some unknown reason reported you...

I don't get it, either.
I recently had a question removed from Motor Sports. I'm a NASCAR fan in NYC; I had asked if there were other "blue state NASCAR fans." I still don't get how that's off-topic or would offend anybody.
And you're right, the hatefulness goes on seemingly unabated.

Yep, collecting reports for abuse seems to have become as cool as getting tickets for traffic violations. I hate political correctness.

why do you feel the need to report people?
no seriously, reporting the bad ones is neccessary, others i leave alone, i avoid anything that is "adult" content, if i do ask or answer anything like that i choose my words carefully

got reported is not so bad, my questions got removed and i got like -15 for each questions that got removed. and i didn't even ask anything bad.. seriously!! sux i know!
