Hello. Firts of all, it is pi not pie. Secondly, it is the 16th letter of the Greek alphabet, which is used to represent the number 3.14159265 (ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter).
In other words, pi = c/d.
We can also use the fraction 22/7 to represent the value of pi.

ah it's pi. I remember up to a certain point and then the last few digits that I include I sometimes put in the wrong order. 3.14159265358979...yada yada yada.
