I cheated on my ex but i was the one to break up the relationship - big mess. I think about him sometimes n wonder what he's doing n if he's with anyone. I even know he's still living in our home town. I've got a wonderful fiance n daughter now, but i still (on the very odd occassion) wonder what life would be like for me now if I had stayed with the ex. Just in a theoretical sense.... u know. Hope this helps.

At first I felt regret on meeting my ex, but you know what? Experience helps you be a better person and helps you build character. They are called Ex for a reason. Would you feel happy with a cheater and let true love just walk by? of course not. Relationship and love needs to include trust always, once that trust is gone so can go the rest. Don't waste your time dwelling on the past. If you really Love your ex forgive her or him, but I say only once. I made the same mistake twice, I was too forgiving and being in the military doesn't help. Just be careful, take your time and always remember that things happen for a reason. good luck.

I regret not working harder to save my marriage. We were both kinda young and didn't have it all figured out like we thought we did. I miss him a lot cause he was really a great guy. He had a fall and cracked his skull, the area that it damaged the doc said controlled basically who he was. The doc said he could either become the nicest guy I had ever met or the meanest. Guess which one I got!!
He also started into drugs which I didn't find out for sure till after we seperated.
Anyways he is doing great now, remarried with a little girl....he is one of my "what if's" in life.
I do miss his smile, it always lit up his face and set my world straight.
O well life goes on.

No we are both much better people apart than we were together.... The constant bickering and arguing was not an envirment we wanted to raise our children in...
Since the divorce we actually like each other as people and have talked about how weird it is that we can coparent so well apart and we did such a miserible job when we were together...
We have each found the right mate for our selves since the divorce and have never for one second regretted the choice to go our seperate ways while remaining freinds and parents to our children...

I have no regrets. I do not regret marrying my ex. If I would not have, then I wouldn't have my two boys.
Nor do I regret leaving my ex. If I didn't I would not have found the love of my life and had my beautiful daughter.
Everything has worked out for the best in this situation. I am happy, my ex is happy, we get along with each other, we get along with each other's new spouse, and most important, our kids our very happy and stable.

When I first separated from my ex i thought it was a big mistake. But as time went by, I realized that I was so much better off without that person. It is hard to see brake up objectively when they first happen. But like "they" always say " An Ex is An Ex for a reason". I hope that helps.

I got cheated on once. I don't regret breaking up with her though, probably the smartest thing I've ever done. just thinking about her makes me sick to my stomach.

Regret? Not a chance. If we broke up, there was a reason. I have never loved anyone enough to tolerate bad behavior.
