No, you have to be live outside of your parents home. Finacial aid is based on household income. If you do think about moving out you will lose medical insurance from you parents while going to College. You still can be covered under the health insurance plan just as long as you attend College at full time. Believe me having no medical insurance is a huge risk at such a young age.

No really. You'll be considered independent at age 25 anyways. Even after that, you'll still have to submit your parent's taxes unless you have a really good credit and you can apply by yourself. That's been my experience.

You probably will, but you cant just say you're independent. They can no longer claim you on their taxes, and they will be able to if it's for this year. You must support yourself for 6 months to be independent. My personal experience: If they let you live at home for free or little rent, it's cheeper to stay, and pay for school.

as long as you are under 25 or not married, you have to count your parents income for financial aid. even if you live on your own.

It didn't help me. I was disqualified financial aid because my parents made too much money even though I was effectively "disowned" by my father, was living outside their house, and was of caucasion descent.
3 big reasons I don't have a degree.

depends on how much you make, how much your parents make, and your age. If you're under 24 then you can't do it. if your over 24, make under 14,000 a year, then you will qualify.
