why do you suppose so many people ask such shallow, stupid, inane, inflammatory, insulting questions (with pathetic spelling and grammar)?

People are mostly capricious and improvident. They fail to recognise the virtue of well-meditated and answered questions. Or they're just bored. Either way, it's disrespectful and degrading to the forum.

Speaking for the US, our public school systems have been graduating functional illiterates for a couple of decades now. Therefore, people lack, on a large scale, unfortunately, the skills to develop any depth.
As far as stupid and inane is concerned, this is the fallout of the same problem. I have to wonder if this is not the mother of all conspiracies. Keep 'em stupid so you can keep 'em under control?
Inflammatory and insulting speech is usually the trademark of one who engages their mouth before engaging the brain. It would seem this is especially true in this category. I never knew that we were slopping over with political scientists and pseudo-pundits. I will agree that the glaring inadequacy of command of the language gives one the appearance of being a fool and, in those cases where one resorts to hackneyed expressions of political dogma any doubt of ones foolishness disappears and confirms them as a part of the herd of bleating sheep blindly following.
Since there are those handy words "Check Spelling" right above the box I am typing in, and in blue, no less, the only answer that can be is that many are too lazy to make use of it, or can't read it.

Because they're shallow, stupid, and inane people. Look at the world, it's amess and always has been. It's that way because the majority of the people in it are shallow, stupid, and inane. Every once in a while a person comes along who looks beyond the end of their nose and aspires to higher ideals. Those people are usually killed, but during their lives they drive the great mass of humanity forward, sort of like how a tugboat moves a huge supertanker. The real question for those that fall somewhere between those 2 poles is how do we turn the masses shallow stupidity to our own advantage.

Not all questions are like that, but there are too many. I think some of these "people" posting shallow, stupid, inane, inflammatory, insulting questions are just some party hacks out to stir up trouble.

It is because they are usually uneducated and have no sense of what they are saying. They know they disagree with something but do not understand the reasoning. They are called sheep. As for the others who put hateful stuff as questions they are just ignorant and brainless individuals who have no sense of self.
