Male children are coveted in Asia. Female children are unwanted. This generally produces an over population of males and under population of females. When that occurs, nature converts more boys into homosexuals to reduce the demand for wives.

Because there are more places for gay people to hang out and meet. More straight people are also accepting and acknowledging gay people as friends and co-workers. Hence more previously closeted people are coming out.

is that so? in fact I skipped stopping over there assuming that it is a rigid place and probably not gay friendly. Perhaps should visit next time..... Singaporeans think ahead and act on it, dont they.

I don't know...maybe there's always been a large number of gay men....just that they were closet gays until recently.
