I think America is a greater threat than ANY other country in the World by far. Its foreign policy is an absolute disaster and in very large part, responsible for the terrorism we see today. The US seeks to control, marginalise, isolate and separate any thinking that is different to America's as wrong.
In doing so it brings down a torrent of anti- American sentiment, mistrust and even hatred on itself. The only people that can't seem to see this are the Americans themselves. Shoot it, lock it up, execute it, invade it or sanction it; that's the American way.
What makes America more dangerous above anything else is the fact she thinks she's right and that, coupled with that peculiarly American brand of right wing zealotry, is very dangerous indeed!
America would do well to join the rest of the World instead of rampaging around trying to run it or fix it. A 250 year old country could learn much from one that is 10000years old. Be a good World citizen, try cooperation and involvement instead of competition and confrontation.
These values would serve America well. Lets face it, her present methods don't seem to be doing her any favours, do they? It is doing harm to the rest of us too.

Iran's capacity to do damage is puny in comparison, and would remain so even if it had a few nuclear weapons. But we would hope that America exercises its power more responsibly. Even Bush is unlikely to launch a full scale holocaust.
But I don't believe arms are the issue. The biggest threat to the world is environmental, and there can be no doubt America is the biggest threat by far. America consumes such a huge proportion of the world's resources, and spews out the biggest volume of waste and greenhouse gases. If Americans alone cut their meat consumption by 80%, deforestation would come to a virtual halt worldwide.
Killing the oceans, mass extinctions. floods, famines. These will do more damage than Iran or terrorism ever could. We are obsessed with the wrong threats.

How much foreign aid does iran share with the world ? You`re safe here in America if you disagree with government issues , try it in iran and you`ll find out who is a bigger threat . They`ll have your head on display !!! If America is such a threat , then why do people consider it a dream to come here and live ?? Ain`t nobody "sneaking" into iran to live and work ?????????

The current administration is causing this country to be one of the worlds bigger threats at the moment. Though Iran may be a little larger I believe their nuclear program is more for power plants than weapons.
To the guy who said that we dont sell to the highest bidder you have never actually read a history book or paid any mind to weapons dealers any time recently have you.

I'm sorry but I would say the world... There is no team work in I... "I" being America. We need to get together and do things together not kill each other with bombs. I believe in humanity but if America continues its Gong ho attitude of "we don't bow down to others but others bow down to us," there is no chance humanity will survive in peaceful coexistence and tolerance. America is a great ally. It's just being unfair by thinking it is the ultimate nation ever. LOOK!!!! your policies work in the USA ONLY!!! it does not work in other countries~!!!!!!!! Ever heard of "divided we fall, united we stand"? The rest of the world is in sync except America.

Iran preaches the destruction of Israel and people they don't agree with. America, at least under Bush, preaches protection of free societies. Iran is a bigger threat. And it's funny that lib-socialist also want the destruction of people who don't agree with them....notice any similarities?

Despite what Booby D says, America is one of the biggest arms suppliers in the world. Every banana republic and third world war lord can thank them for supplying them weapons. They don't need to sell nukes, they are achieving a phenomenal kill rate with their conventional arms sales!! Sadam was armed by the U.S during the war with Iran. The Taliban were supplied by the U.S to fight Russia. The list is long and shameful. The U.S has made huge money out of global conflict!!
