People assume being skinny with being attractive that is not always the case and I wish that more ppl especially hollywood can see that ...we have unattractive thin ppl too

Name one. If you are skinny and ugly, you don't get even Half the flack you do if you are fat and pretty!!!

Not really, yet some of those skinny stars are homely and then being way to skinny can be unattractive, when I see bones wrapped in skin aka anerexic people I want to puke because I do not want to see their bones! Weight doens't make that big of a difference sometimes.Some of the "over weight" people have beautiful faces, while some skinny people aren't very attractive.

I think they're called prawns - take the body but you could do without the head!! just kidding - but your right there are so many different things and people that other people are attracted to and its not always the plastic barbie doll that hollywood likes to offer.
I for one find a real person more attractive than a plastic one and I don't find super skinny attractive at all - rather boring actually

I agree with nobluffzo.. I'm one of those skinny ppl, not that I'm saying I'm ugly, but when I look in the mirror and see a beanpole, it's gross. I have tried to gain some weight but I have a high metabolism I guess. My mom even took me to the Dr. when I was a teen becuz she thought I was anorexic and the Dr. laughed at her. I'm healthy, just skinny. Us skinny ppl aren't always happy with our appearance just like heavier ppl aren't. A few years ago I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and my self-esteem has grown. To God it truly matters whats on the inside as long as you take care of yourself inside and out. No matter your size, show off your assets and be happy, God made you and He doesn't make mistakes. Yes, there are people who are so thin they look bad. It's all in how you project yourself. If we're overweight, play up our assets. Always wear fashionable clothes--even if you have to go to plus sizes. Those overweight should not wear too tight of clothes, but don't be afraid to be a little sexy. Always be neat and apply make up nicely. Hair--treat yourself to highlights and a great hair cut. Use your charisma to make friends and have a great time. Hold your head up with confidence.
However, if we are way thin, then do same as above!

i think people realize that, they also realize that fat people can be just as attractive as anyone, i dont think its as big an issue as it used to be.
DarkAngel, ill give you an example of each, Monique is a beautiful big woman and Nicole Ritchie is an ugly skinny chick. who gets more flack over it???

That is so true. Chubby girls are just not in vogue any more. Which is funny since a good majority of Americans are over weight. Hmmmmm....
